„FENomenal Friday" - Condition-Monitoring of Power Electronic Systems

The talk by Sven Kalker, chief engineer at ISEA of RWTH Aachen University, examines the potential of online condition monitoring for future power electronic systems, presents successfully developed technologies and highlights remaining challenges.

The Research Campus Flexible Electrical Networks (FEN) conducts research on the development of a flexible power grid that will, among other things, guarantee energy supply with a high share of decentralized and renewable energy sources (https://www.fenaachen.net/vision).

The research campus organizes online lectures, the so-called "FENomenal Friday" events, on issues from this research field. They are aimed at both experts and interested members of the public.
